Fearless Energy Drink Champions Bold Self-Expression At Felabration 2026, Celebrates Emerging Talents

Posted on October 16, 2026

Fearless Energy Drink, from Rite Foods Limited, brought its bold spirit to Felabration 2026, supporting music, rap and dance challenges that gave emerging performers an opportunity to showcase their talents at the annual celebration of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Held at the New Afrika Shrine in Lagos, this year’s festival, themed “Who Are You?”, explored individuality, identity and self-expression —values that connect naturally with Fearless Energy Drink’s “I CAN, I AM” philosophy, which encourages people to believe in themselves, embrace their uniqueness and express their potential with confidence.

As the festival’s energy drink brand, Fearless played an active role in the celebrations by powering the rap, dance and music challenges held during the week-long event.

The activities provided a platform for emerging artists and performers to express their creativity, engage with music lovers and compete for prizes.

The rap contest featured Albright, Owocho, TonyCanon, Kashvegas, Ihuneyo, Marshal and Evergreen, while performances by Lufemi & D Afrikanas, Tobi Majeek and Da Seed, Scott Martins and The Electrified, Afroblackish, among others, added to the festival’s musical variety.

The performances brought together contemporary sounds, hip-hop and Afrobeat, reflecting the creativity and diversity of Nigeria’s music scene.

Through its Fearless Classic and Fearless Red Berry variants, the brand connected with consumers at an event where music, personality and the freedom to be different take centre stage.

Its involvement went beyond brand visibility, extending to activities that gave emerging performers an opportunity to share their craft with a wider audience.

The partnership also reflects a shared spirit between Fearless Energy Drink and Felabration. Fela used music to challenge conventions, express his convictions and draw attention to issues of social justice, equality and freedom.

Felabration continues to preserve that legacy, bringing together established artists, emerging performers and music enthusiasts to celebrate his influence on music and society.

Speaking on the brand’s participation, Olaniyi Aderuku, Brand Manager, Fearless Energy Drink at Rite Foods Limited, said the festival provided an opportunity to connect the brand’s philosophy with a cultural platform that encourages originality and creative expression.

“Fearless is built around the spirit of ‘I CAN, I AM’—believing in yourself, owning your individuality and having the confidence to express who you are. Felabration embodies much of that spirit. Fela was unapologetically himself, and through his music, he encouraged people to question conventions and express their convictions. Supporting a festival that celebrates this legacy, while providing a platform for emerging talents, is a natural fit for Fearless,” Aderuku said.

He added that Fearless Energy Drink would continue to explore opportunities to engage consumers through entertainment and cultural experiences that reflect the brand’s values and create real connections with its audience.

At Felabration 2026, the connection between the brand and the festival came to life through music, movement, and individual expression.

By supporting emerging performers on a stage dedicated to creativity and the courage to stand apart, Fearless reinforced its “I CAN, I AM” philosophy in a setting that celebrates the freedom to be yourself.
