Felix Akpan, Toyin Afe Commend Sanwo-Olu Over Oluomo’s Appointment As Chair, Lagos Parks Committee
The Lagos State Government under Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been commended for the role giving to Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya who is popularly called MC Oluomo as the Head of newly formed Lagos State Parks Management Committee.
Since the appointment was announced, MC Oluomo has continued to receive applause from many people across the state who see his new position as an elevation to serve humanity in higher capacity.
Speaking with reporters on Easter Monday in his office in Ikeja, Comrade Felix Akpan, chairman of Iju Ishaga Unit B, Phase 2, said the appointment did not come to him as a surprise, adding that MC Oluomo’s dedication to the cause of maintaining peace across motor parks and garages in the state is being noted by well-meaning people in Lagos.
“I see in Oluomo, a dedicated and God-fearing man whose love for his members is second to none. I was so happy with his new appointment because this is another opportunity for him to serve humanity and mankind.
“If you are closer to Oluomo, you would understand the kind of a person he is. He is a selfless man, who can sacrifice anything to make sure that people are happy around him. He is a son of the elders and he knows how to take of the elders. Since I knew him, Oluomo never struggled to get anything, things usually play out for him as God has desined.
“In Ikeja, we are in total support of his new appointment and on behalf of all my other comrades in Iju Ishaga Unit B Phase 2 in Ikeja, we are pledging our loyalty to Oluomo and pray for him to succeed in this new assignment in the state. God will continue to bless and upholding him for greater glory in Jesus name,” said Comrade Akpan, a former Nigerian and West African boxing champion.
Corroborating his chairman, Secretary of Iju Ishaga Unit B Phase 2, Comrade Toyin Afe described Oluomo as a leader who is so accommodating and has listening ears.
“I think the hallmark of MC Oluomo’s personalities is his love for the people. He is a leader who operates an open door policy. He has been able to manage the affairs of all the branches in Lagos with the fear of God and impartiality. On behalf of the comrades in Ikeja, we hold it a duty to work with him for him to succeed in this new position and we cannot thank him enough for making one of our elders, Comrade Akpan the chairman of Iju Ishaga Unit B Phase 2,” Comrade Afe said.
