Femi Ojudu: Achievements in Public Office

In the Senate from 2011 to 2015, Senator Femi Ojudu achieved few of the following:
1. Qualitative legislation and representation. He discovered budget fraud ongoing under the Goodluck Jonathan Administration and alerted the nation to it. He led the fight to bring justice to the thousands killed in Immigration Recruitment Exercise including several from Ekiti.
2. Joint multibillion irrigation system at Ikosun Ekiti farmland – jointly developed by the 3 senators of APC in Class of 2011/15
3. Joint multibillion construction of tourists park at Ureje Dam in Ado by the 3 senators of APC
4. He built classrooms in a primary school in Ado Ekiti. He built town hall in Ikoro, Aramoko, Ijero and Okemesi Ekiti
5. He sank boreholes in almost all the towns under his Senatorial district
6. Bought cars to more than 20 indigenes of his Senatorial districts.
7. Through Raliat Foundation, named in memory of his beloved mother he Empowered thousands of women of his constituency with grinding machine, hairdressing and barbing tools etc
8. Sent 10 Ekiti son and daughters on scholarship abroad
9. The only modern townhall in Igbimo, the Rice Capital was built by him also equipped with modern air conditioners.
10. Through his work he contributed immensely to the advancement of democracy in Ekiti and Nigeria at Large.
11. Gave N25,000 grant each to 570 women traders in his constituency.
12. Organized annual essay competition for students of Ekiti State. The best 20 are given cash prizes and lap tops. This was conducted under the Initiative of Babafemi Ojudu for Leadership Development ( iBOLD )
13. Renovated Fajuyi Hall, Ado Ekiti to the tune of N13m
14. Brought into his constituency 15 doctors and nurses from US on a two week medical intervention.
15. Provided borehole in 37 wards of his 57 ward constituency

As Special Adviser, Political Matters to the President since 2016, he has achieved the following:
1. Enables and facilitated the application of thousands of participants in the Federal Government Social Intervention Program, specifically the N-Power Program that has now over 3,000 participants in Ekiti. Ekiti through his efforts also have the highest growth in application in the 2017/18 class set to be released.
2. Facilitate the facilitation of over 4,000 market men and women in the market money loan initiative of the Bank of Industry. This has led to enhanced credit to Ekiti State emerging small and cottage industries
3. Led the exposition of amounts collected by Governor Fayose in Paris Club Refund and Ecological Fund allocations which has forced transparency on the part of the state government and facilitated an agreement to pay civil servants that is awaiting implementation in good faith.
4. Leading discussions in the cocoa farm settlement renewal program of the FG with NIRSAL in the absence of the state government from the table as Governor Fayose continues to insist not to work with Mr President to better the lives of the ordinary Ekiti men and women.
5. In this light, he led a public campaign to force Governor Fayose to accept the FG School Feeding program that is now set to launch and will directly benefit over 1000 caterers now undergoing medical test and selection to feed thousands of school children.
6. Ekiti Farmers and market women will benefit from the school feeding program as well. Contributing well over 6 billion Naira to the state’s economy.
