Food Security: Kwara Set To Provide Additional Interventions For Farmers

The Kwara State Government has called on commercial farms, private farms and small holder farmers in clusters to contact the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to have their lands captured.

According to the State Government, this will enable the captured commercial farms, private farms and small holder farmers to benefit from another set of numerous government interventions.

The Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, in a statement on Thursday, said, “We must ensure all cleared lands in Kwara is put to effective use and that we clear more lands to farm in order to achieve food security”.

Concerned commercial farms, private farms and small holder farmers, who want to request for capturing have between March 22 and Friday, March 29 to apply.
