Good Friday Rains Of Prayers For Tinubu @67 In Lagos

These were the words of Hon. Doyin Johnson, the Director General/National Coordinator of Asiwaju Frontliners, a sociopolitical group, which chose Good Friday as a day to organise an interdenominational prayers session for the National Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event tagged “Bola Tinubu’s Dream Must Be Fulfilled Part 2” took place in Ikorodu, Lagos and was attended by members of the group and some APC stalwarts in the state.

The Chief Host, who is also the Coordinator of the group, Doyin Johnson told P.M. EXPRESS that “it Is a great thing of love to celebrate our own, most especially on this special day and we found it very important for us to gather together to celebrate our mentor who clocked 67 recently with rains of prayers on Good Friday.  This is to show our love for him and It is symbolic.

“This prayers session has been a yearly thing. We tagged this year’s own Bola Tinubu’s Dream Must Be Fulfilled Part 2 in continuation of Part 1 we had last year.”

According to Johnson, Bola Tinubu is a good man who has made  remarkable impacts in the lives of millions of Nigerians and Nigeria as a nation with extension of his good works to other Africa countries, a reason the organisation chose Good Friday to celebrate him this year 2019.

He emphasized that Tinubu is a specially made man created by Almighty God to help Nigeria to get to her promise land

“This is not a matter of exaggerating,  but the bitter truth must be told. Let’s look at the role Bola Tinubu played during the struggle to stop the military juntas as one the NADECO ring leaders that forced military out of Aso Rock. He did not stop there, he laid a solid foundation for Lagos State when he served as the Governor between 1999-2007 after which he also handed the mantle of  Lagos affairs  to competent hands after the expiration of his tenure. We should not forget how he worked tirelessly to have progressives at the helms of affairs of this country. This has never happened in Nigeria since the country gained  independent. Tinubu served as a mobiliser of the progressives across the country from the six geo- political zones,” he said.

To Johnson, someone who had been at the forefront of the struggle for a better Nigeria since 1991, about 28 years ago and never relent, such person deserve prayers from Nigerians in other for him to live long with sound health to continue with his God-sent assignments to humanity.

 He said the organization, Asiwaju Frontliners, had prayed to God to give Bola Tinubu the grace to lead this country as President in other to have a more better Nigeria and transformation across the six geo-political  zones because he is a tested and trusted leader with a caring heart.
