Gov Inuwa Hosts Gombe Ministerial Nominee, Sen. Saidu Alkali

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, earlier yesterday, received in audience, the Gombe State ministerial nominee, Sen. Saidu Ahmed Alkali, on a “thank you visit’ following his screening at the Senate.  
As a demonstration of courtesy and appreciation, the nominee’s first port of call immediately after his screening by the Senate was the Gombe State Governor’s lodge, where he led a retinue of friends, associates, aides and supporters to meet with the Chairman of the Northern Governors’ Forum.
On his entourage were Senators Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, Joshua Lidani and Alkali Jajere, Member representing Dukku/ Nafada Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdullahi El-Rasheed, former members; Hon. Fatima Binta Bello, Hon.Umar Ahmed Suleiman Nafada, member representing Governor South State Constituency, Comrade Mustapha Usman Hassan, business man, Alhaji Auwalu Cheldu and a host of others.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya had earlier in a congratulatory message to the nominee, hailed the choice of Sen. Alkali by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to represent Gombe State in the Federal Executive Council.
He said, “It is with great pleasure and utmost pride that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our dear brother, Sen. Saidu Ahmed Alkali on his nomination as a Minister by the President and Commander-in- Chief, His Excellency,  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  GCFR. This consideration is a testament to your unwavering dedication, capacity, and invaluable contributions to our beloved state and the nation”.
“As you prepare to embark on this new chapter, I have no doubt that your experience and vision will continue to shape the trajectory of our dear state and nation positively.”
Sen. Saidu on his part, thanked President Bola Tinubu for considering him worthy to serve as a Minister, and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his support in this regard.
