How Gov Obiano Disappointed Onyenwife, Okadigbo in Austria

While Gov Willie Obiano was away in Austria on investment tour, some aspirants left Nigeria to go and lobby the governor for their party’s ticket and the hard working governor was said to have disappointed them.
One of the aspirants that visited Austria was Hon Vivian Okadigbo who is contesting for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency seat. While Hon Vivian Okadigbo was purportedly led to the governor by Senator Victor Umeh, Hon Gabriel Onyenwife was said to have sponsored the Igwe of Umunya to meet with the 21/21 governor on his behalf.
A source that was in Austria and privy to the meeting told AIF Media that Igwe Umunya had pleaded with Gov Obiano to support the reelection bid of Hon Gabriel Onyenwife. But when the interest of Hon Vivian Okadigbo also came up in the same meeting, it was gathered that Hon Okadigbo told the governor that if Gabriel Onyenwife was considered to return to the National Assembly, that she should also be allowed to return to the House of Assembly for the 3rd time.
At that juncture, AIF Media was told that the governor became uncomfortable with their demands of supporting Hon Gabriel Onyenwife to return to the House of Representatives against the zoning agreement in Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency and that of Hon Okadigbo going back to the State Assembly for a 3rd term. The meeting was said to have ended without any formal position or conclusion.

AIF Media reports that it is getting obvious that Hon Vivian Okadigbo is not contesting for the House of Representatives; she is only doing “colloba” with Hon Onyenwife also known as Africa.
For the records, AIF Media states that Hon Vivian Okadigbo is a failed lawmaker and Hon Gabriel Onyenwife is equally a failed lawmaker. Both have no business returning to the parliament to represent the people.
Their Austrian trip failed. It is sad that a traditional ruler is leading a campaign of a failed lawmaker. It is also rather sad that Senator Victor Umeh who is said to be opposing a “trickster” (Gov Rochas Okorocha) from having a 3rd term through his son-in-law, can be said to be supporting the worst performing House of Assembly member for a 3rd term.
It is left to be seen in the days ahead how 21/21 and transparent governor, Chief Willie Obiano, intends to resolve the Oyi/Ayamelum brouhaha.
