Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has extended warm felicitations to Lady Joy Chimdi Iwuanyanwu, mother of the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, on the occasion of her 70th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Governor, Uzodimma described Lady Iwuanyanwu’s 70 years as a remarkable journey marked by grace, faith, and purposeful living. He noted that living up to 70 is a blessing, but living meaningfully—with family and faith at the centre—is a far greater gift worthy of celebration.
“From the very beginning, yours has been a life shaped by care, responsibility, and quiet resolve. Your journey as a nurse reflected your instinct to nurture, and your commitment to family has been unwavering. Through it all, your trust in God has remained constant,” the Governor said.
He commended Lady Iwuanyanwu for her lifelong dedication to family and community, noting that her values and strength of character continue to reflect in her children and the wider society.
“It is no coincidence that your son, Amara, now serves as Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly. The values you passed on continue to shape your family, and by extension, the communities they serve,” Uzodimma added.
Governor Uzodimma, speaking on behalf of his family, the government, and the people of Imo State, celebrated Lady Iwuanyanwu as a woman whose calm presence inspires confidence, and whose life exemplifies the strength found in doing right.
“Happy 70th birthday, Lady Joy Chimdi Iwuanyanwu. May your days ahead be healthy, peaceful, and full of joy,” the Governor concluded.
