The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, has commended the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, ZPMO, for driving the growth of commerce and trade within its host community.

The Governor gave the commendation at the Grand Finale of the Ministry’s Annual World Conference / Global Crusade of Miraculous Takeover held at Zion City, Ngor Okpala.

Gov. Uzodimma recalled that the State Government approved ZPMO’s request to build its permanent site in Imo because of its public interest.

“When Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO) approached the Imo State Government as they prepared to build their permanent site in the State, I was delighted to grant their request, guided by the overriding public interest it served,” he said.

“ As I joined the Grand Finale of their Annual World Conference / Global Crusade of Miraculous Takeover at Zion City, Ngor Okpala, I was amazed by the magnitude of work already achieved at the City — a clear reflection of the very objective the Ministry set out to achieve when it first approached the Imo State Government.”

The Governor praised the founder of ZPMO, Evangelist Ebuka Obi, for his steadfastness in the work of God and for providing spiritual guidance to members of the ministry.

He noted that ZPMO is not only impacting lives spiritually but is also contributing to the local economy.

“I commend Evangelist Ebuka Obi for his steadfastness in the work of God and for the spiritual guidance he continues to offer Zionites. The Ministry is not only uplifting the spiritual lives of worshippers but is also contributing meaningfully to the growth of commerce and trade within its host community and across the State,” Gov. Uzodimma said.

The Governor assured that the Imo State Government will continue to support the ministry, noting that its activities have turned the state into a destination for religious pilgrimage and tourism.

“The Imo State Government will continue to do all it can to support the success of this Ministry, which has brought religious pilgrimage and tourism to our dear State — one of the most peaceful in the nation,” he added.
