The gubernatorial ambition of the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has become a blessing to his home town as he has finally resolved the lingering crises that had ravaged the community for over 20 years.

The Isuofia community in the Aguata Local Government area of Anambra State had been in crises and all efforts to resolve the crises proved abortive for those years until recently when it was resolved.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the six villages that made up the town were at loggerheads and were in different courts over internal wrangling and the battle for supremacy over leadership.

This was said to have hindered development in the community, the prominent men among them backed off and refused to support any development.

It was gathered that all the efforts made by Soludo to resolve the crises in the past proved abortive because the prominent men among them did not agree to allow peace reign in the community.

Then the former CBN governor became angry, abandoned the community to their fate and faced other neighbouring community who were at peace.

However, things have turned round now following the alleged mutual agreement Soludo reached with the present governor of Anambra State, Chief Willy Obiano for transfer of power after Obiano’s second tenure as governor.

It was also gathered that even Governor Obiano had tried to resolve the matter, it failed and they were left alone by the government.

Sources in the know said Obiano told Soludo that it will be difficult to package him if there was no support base from his people and urged him to do everything possible to resolve the crises.

It was this fact that made Soludo to temporarily relocate to the community and was reaching those behind the crises, the prominent men in the community and the branch unions.

The effort paid off when Soludo facilitated a meeting at the town hall where all the aggrieved parties assembled, resolve to end the crises and then embraced one another.
