Gwacham Attends Ogbunike Widows Alert

The APGA House of Representatives candidate for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Lady Maureen Gwacham attended the maiden edition of Ogbunike Widows Alert empowerment programme at Azu village, Ogbunike, Anambra State.

The convener/sponsor of Ogbunike Widows Alert Scheme, High Chief Dr Chuma Haris (Ogbuefi Ogene N’Ara Onu) on receiving her, described Lady Maureen Gwacham as an epitome of humanity and promised to support her political project.

Speaking on behalf of the widows, Mrs Virginia Onyeagom, thanked Lady Maureen Gwacham for always coming to their aid and finding time today to come and support Ogbuefi Ogene in this noble project.

Reacting, Lady Maureen Gwacham thanked the sponsor of Ogbunike Widows Alert empowerment scheme, Ogbuefi Ogene for such initiative and promised to always support the scheme.

Going further, Lady Maureen Gwacham encouraged the widows to be steadfast and pledged to be paying them monthly stipends for sustanance when she gets to the Green Chambers by God’s grace and with the people’s support.

Thirty six widows were carefully selected from the six villages that made up Ogbunike town.
