In a heartwarming celebration of compassion and commitment, Hopesalive Initiative for Africa (HAI) offers support to widows in collaboration with Greater Washington Logistics (GWX), an invaluable partner in their mission, marking His Imperial Majesty’s birthday- the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan-Ogunwusi.

The event, held at the Ooni’s palace, was a proof to the power of collective efforts in bringing hope and support to widows through HAI’s Sustained Programme – The Aged Fend Project.

The Aged Fend Project, a flagship initiative of HAI, has been making a profound impact in the lives of widows by providing companionship and assistance to those who have lost their life partners. At the heart of this initiative lies a commitment that transcends boundaries and a compassion that knows no limits.

The celebration was dedicated to His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan-Ogunwusi and Greater Washington Logistics (GWX), an organization that has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the Aged Fend Project.

Their dedication has been a ray of hope in the lives of widows, offering comfort, companionship, and a sense of belonging that transcends words. They have worked tirelessly alongside HAI’s team to ensure that widows receive the care and attention they deserve.
The celebration served as a dual purpose – to honor His Imperial Majesty on his birthday and to extend gratitude to Greater Washington Logistics (GWX) for their selfless service.

The event highlighted the importance of collaboration and a shared vision in achieving remarkable outcomes. It was a moment of reflection on the impact that can be made when individuals and organizations come together with a common purpose.

For HAI, this celebration was an opportunity to express their profound appreciation to GWX and to reaffirm their commitment to serving the community. The event, attended by community members, beneficiaries, and supporters, resonated with a message of unity and the power of compassion in making a positive change in the lives of those in need.

As we commemorate His Imperial Majesty’s birthday, we celebrate GWX’s selfless service to the elderly and look forward to the continued partnership that allows HAI to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
