Hall of Shame!!!

When we said Asaba Nollywood is nothing but a theater of absurdity it wasn’t out of ignorance, there is a lot people like Zubby Micheal and a litany of poorly gifted “Runs girls” parading as Actors are doing to validate our hypothesis.
It is no longer about craft, but graft. Both the producers and Actors from this new axis of horror deserve a place in our Hall of Shame.
Kanayo Ọ Kanayo is on Facebook trying to explain to a highly visually enabled generation that his show of shame at Oba was “showbiz”. Yet, he was on Flavour’s “imakwa onye i bụ?” music video promoting obscenity all in the name of “doings”…
The generation Z kids rely so much on data, so much so that everything they believe is either validated by Google, YouTube or Netflix. Entertainment as a determinant of social standards has sadly gone full scale mad, little wonder bad looks, when condemned, are defined as “profiling”. Negative character is passed off as “vibes”, and socially disapproved conducts are now called “doings”.
I am sad, that our little effort at addressing these concerns are rebuffed as symptomatic of poverty and envy.
We are in trouble even in our emptiness.
