Posted on November 12, 2022

From the enforcement carried out by the ANJET Team A2 on Thursday, the 10th of November, 2022, at Onitsha metropolis, the following notorious touts (pictures attached), who extort money from unsuspecting taxpayers, were caught red-handed as they beat, molest and harass innocent keke and bus drivers and unlawfully take state revenues from them.

Some of the touts arrested have already started talking, and ANJET has more INFO to work on now. The Anambra State Government warns against touting, maintaining that anyone caught in the act should be prepared to face the full wrath of the law.

There is no hiding for touts as anyone who defies the order of government will certainly be caught and prosecuted in no distant time.

Also, those who print tickets to sell under any guise as IGR window must stop now or be ready to answer questions dealing with their criminal conducts. Note that anybody who prints such tickets to steal Anambra’s revenue is automatically an enemy of the state and a criminal.

Ndi Anambra and residents, especially the taxpayers who are defrauded daily by such criminal elements are once again requested to report such people to ANJET via its hotlines: 08156352767 and 09017280990

Send videos, pictures and reports of operations of touts in your area using the ANJET HOTLINES above.
