Posted on October 27, 2018

The most prestigious fashion and style event in this part of Africa, Heineken Lagos Fashion Week, came back with a bang.

Already in its last day, the event which is currently holding at the Lagos Fashion Week Tents, Prince Alaba Road, Oniru will end Saturday with an exclusive party tagged ‘Live Your Music’.

Coming off a hugely successful edition last year, raising the bar was already set to be a daunting task.

The Heineken Fashion Week, however, came through and upped the ante.

From a visually stunning exhibition section to a one of a kind ballet recital, fashion’s night out was filled with all sorts of glamour and flavour.

Always playing ahead of the curve, Heineken played their part in making the fashion show as inclusive as possible.

This was achieved by setting up a seamless live podcast for those who weren’t at the event.

One of the most dazzling sections of the event has to be the glamorous exhibition area.

The cozy feel of the exhibition space blended effortlessly with the eye popping stands which were featured.

Moving from the exhibition space into the inner chamber, attendees were greeted with classical piano artistry and an elegant ballet performance.

This was a main attraction as guests stopped to be entertained by the graceful showcase of talent.

According to the Senior Brand Manager Heineken, Obabiyi Fagade, “As an international brand present in 192 countries around the world, we are happy to be a part of this project. Heineken hopes to inspire African fashion excellence by supporting a new generation of trendsetters and provide the needed spotlight to key players shaping the future of the industry.”

Set up not far from the stage of the recital was Kelechi Amadi – Obi’s brilliant photoshoot section where celebrities stopped to get their shot by the iconic photographer.

The ambience of the event was kept light but energetic by DJ Sose’s expert playing.

To top it all off, fashion enthusiasts witnessed the flawless fashion show which featured beautiful showcases by A’list designers.

The Heineken Lagos Fashion Week continues to maintain the high standard by providing an experience that will shape fashion’s future in Africa.

So far, they are doing just that.
