Hon Anthony Ikenna Okafor Felicitates With Ndi Anambra At 35, Calls For Renewed Commitment To Development

The Labour Party flag bearer for Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Hon. Anthony Ikenna Okafor, has congratulated the people of Anambra State as the state marks 35 years of its creation.
In a goodwill message on Thursday, Hon. Okafor described Anambra as a shining example of enterprise, resilience and excellence in Nigeria.
Hon. Okafor said the past 35 years have been defined by the hard work and ingenuity of Ndi Anambra at home and in the diaspora, who have continued to project the state positively across commerce, education, technology and culture.
“On this special occasion of Anambra State at 35, I heartily felicitate with His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, our visionary Governor, and the good people of Anambra State at home and in the diaspora,” he stated.
“In 35 years, Anambra has continued to shine as a beacon of enterprise, resilience and excellence. From our markets to our classrooms, from our industries to our communities, the Anambra spirit of industry and determination remains unmatched.”
The federal lawmaker aspirant noted that while it is important to celebrate milestones, the state must also look ahead with purpose and unity.
“As we celebrate our past, let us look to the future with hope and renewed commitment to building an Anambra that works for all. Anambra of functional infrastructure, job opportunities for our youths, quality healthcare, and security for every community,” Hon. Okafor said.
He commended Governor Soludo for what he called “bold reforms and developmental strides” aimed at making Anambra a livable and prosperous homeland, and pledged his support for policies that drive inclusive growth.
Hon. Okafor also extended special greetings to the people of Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo, describing them as critical drivers of Anambra’s industrial and commercial strength.
“Our people have continued to lead in manufacturing, trade and innovation. We must build on this foundation to ensure that the next 35 years bring even greater prosperity to our communities,” he added.
He concluded: “Happy 35th Anniversary to Anambra State. May God continue to bless our dear state and bless every son and daughter of Anambra.”
