Hon. Justice Aderemi For Burial In August

The Retired Justice of the Supreme Court Hon. Justice, Sir Hon. Pius Olayiwola Aderemi, CON, who died recently will be buried in August, 2018, the son of the deceased, Mr Olakunle Aderemi told PM EXPRESS.

The former Supreme Court Jurist, and a one time Chairmanship nominee of the Independent and Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) by President Goodluck Jonathan, passed on Monday June 18 at a hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State after a brief illness.

According to a statement issued by his son, Mr Aderemi, Hon. Justice Aderemi’ burial has been fixed for 2-4 August. The deceased until his death was a devoted Catholic, defender of the law and an exemplary and incorruptible Jurist of Nigeria’s Apex Court.

He was at a time, a member of the National Judicial Council, Member of the Body of Benchers of Nigeria, and was a Papal Knight of St Gregory the Great.

Justice Aderemi is survived by children and grandchildren.
