Posted on November 30, 2022
The Lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly and the APC candidate for 2023 election Ikeja 2 seat, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), has expressed profound appreciation to the leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikeja Constituency 2 for mobilising and attending the party’s Presidential/Governorship Flag-Off Rally held at Teslim Balogun over the weekend, in larger numbers.
Speaking with a team of party faithfuls, who paid a courtesy visit to his office Monday evening, the lawmaker described the turn out of people from Ojodu LCDA and Ikeja LGA at the rally as “very impressive”.
According to Hon. Kasunmu, “I was extremely elated by the large numbers of our people who turned up at Teslim Balogun Stadium on Saturday to honour our leader, father and Presidential Candidate, AsiwajuBola Ahmed Tinubu. I saw a lot of faces from Ikeja Constituency 2 in and outside the stadium and was very impressed. It was indeed a heroic homecoming for Asiwaju and the Party’s topshots from across the nation. It was very impressive”.
Speaking further, Hon. Kasunmu stated that, “though the rally was a sign of good things to come in 2023, we should however, not relent as a party in our mobilisation and sensitation drives. We should not rest on our oars. Victory is sure”.
It would be recalled that thousands of party faithfuls trooped to Teslim Balogun Stadium last Saturday 26th November, 2022, to witness the Lagos State flag off of APC Presidential and Governorship Campaign in the state.
Hon. Kasunmu, who is the APC candidate for Ikeja Constituency 2 in the 2023 elections, mobilised scores of Party members from his Constituency in buses to attend the Rally.
Hon. Kasunmu also appreciated the APC Chairman in Ikeja Local Government, Alhaji Adekunle Dally-Adeokun, his Ojodu LCDA counterpart, Alhaja Stella Olusola Kokumo as well as Hon (HIgh Chief). James Abiodun Faleke; Ojodu LCDA Council Chairman, Mr. Segun Odunmbaku; Ikeja LGA Chairman, Engr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun and other party leaders for working externally hard in ensuring a large turnout of people at the Rally.
