Hon. Obi Commends Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo As She Leads Solidarity Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

The Idemili South local government Mayor, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi (Iyom Ife-Abata), has commended Anambra First Lady, Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo, for her commitment to women’s health and wellbeing, stating that many women have been freely screened.
Hon. Obi said, Dr. Mrs. Soludo is very committed to the cause of women and she believes that every Anambra woman deserves access to top quality cancer care.
Idemili South Mayor also applauded Dr. Mrs. Soludo for clearing hospital bills of cancer survivors at Chukwuemeka Odumegbu Ojukwu Teaching hospital, Amaku.
She said, Dr. Mrs Soludo leads the solidarity walk to show support towards fighting a common energy, noting that every step she took represented strength, hope, and the desire to support them.
Idemili South Council boss emphasized that breast cancer is a battle no woman should face alone, saying that, it is a challenge that affects not just the individual but families, community and society in general.
She added that the awareness served as a critical reminder of the importance of early detection, and regular screening for women.
