Hon Segun Odunmbaku Inspects Desilting Exercise At Akilo Road

The Executive Chairman Of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, today visited and inspected the ongoing desilting exercise at Akilo Road by the Council’s Department Of Environmental Services.

It must be noted that Ojodu LCDA has been carrying out extensive desilting exercises to prevent against clogging of drainages and flooding of neighborhoods in its efforts to protect the environment.

The Ojodu Mayor also used the opportunity to interact with residents and road users on his administration’s policy for a better environment while also receiving quality feedback from them as well.

He further implored residents to properly dispose waste and refuse while assuring them that evacuation of the silts from desilting exercise would be immediate and swift to forestall against rains eroding the silts back into the drainage.

At the inspection were the SLG, Hon. Olaide John Bello, Supervisor For Environment, Hon. Olawale Abdusalam, HOD Environment, Sanitarian Sangolana and Hon. Lekan Peters.
