Housewife Cuts Off Husband’s Dick With Knife During Squabble At Night

Police operatives have commenced manhunt for an 18-year-old housewife, who fled after allegedly using a knife to cut off her husband’s dick during a squabble at night in Yobe State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened in Potiskum Local Government Area of the State, where the couple resided before the disagreement.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Yobe State Police Command, SP Dungus Abdulkarim, at Damaturu Police headquarters, in the State capital.
The Police withheld the names of the couple due to the sensitive nature of the matter.
According to the Police, the disturbing incident occurred at about 1am on 6th February, 2026, but was not reported to the Potiskum Divisional Police Station until 3pm later that day.
SP Abdulkarim stated that the suspect, who is currently at large, allegedly used a sharp knife to mutilate her husband’s organ before fleeing the scene.
“Following the report, Police operatives promptly visited the scene and rushed the victim to the State Specialist Hospital, Potiskum, for urgent medical attention.”
“The victim was subsequently referred to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Azare, where he is currently receiving treatment.”
The Police spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing to apprehend the suspect and to unravel the circumstances surrounding the attack.
He noted that certain sensitive details of the case are being withheld to protect the victim from further trauma.
The Commissioner of Police for Yobe State, CP Emmanuel Ado, strongly condemned the act, emphasizing that marriage should be built on mutual respect, understanding, patience, and tolerance.
