On a very sad note, a 39-year old lady, Lilian Nwarache, has committed suicide in Lagos State by drinking the deadly Sniper insecticide over frustration.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 3rd November, 2023, at Iwaya area of Lagos State.
The late Lilian was reported to have been suffering from an undisclosed protracted illness and had been seeking cure in a church in Iwaya area to no avail. She became frustrated by her condition because it appeared that there was no solutions in sight to her predicament.
She reportedly decided to terminate her life by drinking a full bottle of Sniper insecticide having earlier tried to jump into a canal after drinking the insecticide but was prevented by passersby and was rushed to a hospital, where a doctor confirmed her dead.
This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, who explained that three passport photographs belonging to the deceased were found in her bag alongside her Samsung mobile phone.
