How Ordinary President’s Lawyer Barr. Uwazuruonye Lied Over Claims Of N4m Payment To Ruzu Account

As the face-off between the CEO of Ruzu Herbal Products and Services Ltd, Dr Onyemachi Robert Uzu and Dr. Isa Ahmed, a.k.a Ordinary President of Berekete Family continues more revelations are coming out that both Ahmed and his lawyer, Barr. Uche Uwazuruonye are being economical with the facts over the bank account that attracted N2.1b tax from FIRS.


P.M.EXPRESS reports that on 19th November,2024, when Dr. Isa Ahmed in his broadcast denied any business transaction with Dr. Uzu and claimed that he only helped him due to the issues he had with a certain pastor who had the intention to take over his herbal company and he (Dr. Ahmed ) came to his rescue.


He also claimed that his platform (Brekete Family), which used to promote the Ruzu herbal products, was stopped due to customer complaints about its reduced efficacy and that he (Dr. Isa Ahmed) had no business with the said account in dispute that had allegedly made transactions of N50bn in the last four years, accruing to over N2.1bn in tax.


However, during his second broadcast in January,2025, he admitted to knowing of an account created for the payment of his commission from Ruzu Herbal Products, which he initially debunked ever existed.


On the other hand, his lawyer, Barr. Uche Uwazuruonye, stated that only N4m was realized from revenue paid for over a year of partnership with Dr. Uzu in contrast to Ruzu claims that he paid over N70m commission to the account during the one-and-a-half-year period of partnership

In response to the letters of demand sent to the Ordinary President and his lawyer, Barr. Uche Uwazuruonye by Dr. Uzu’s lawyer Gyang Zi (SAN), Dr Ahmed claimed that Dr. Uzu offered to support the Brekete Family Program and he sent the money through Barr. Uwazuruonye, for that purpose.


It is however, obvious that there was a business relationship between Dr. Uzu and Dr. Ahmed for the marketing of Ruzu products and Ahmed got 30% of sales made from marketing Ruzu products, and Barr. Uwazuruonye was the middleman who received the alerts of money paid into the account in dispute, as he’s the sole signatory to the account.



Barr. Uche Uwazuruonye had claimed that only N4m was realized as commission earned by his client, Dr. Isa Ahmed, during the one year and a half period of partnership with Dr. Uzu but the records available showed otherwise. Dr Uzu claimed that in two weeks alone, Ruzu paid N6m into the account and cumulative N70m commission during the one year and a half partnership as against N4m claimed by Barr. Uwazuruonye.



Another contradiction by Dr Ahmed is that he does not know anything about the account, but Uwazuruonye’s bank statement of account bears the address of the Brekete Human Rights Radio TV office address, which may have significantly shown that Ahmed was lying that he does not know anything about the bank account.


It would be recalled that the issue came to open when Dr. Uzu was invited by FIRS to clear an outstanding bill of over N2.1bn unpaid tax from an alien account he gave out the company details to open for the payment of commission on sales of his products to Dr. Ahmed of Brekete Family.


The partnership reportedly collapsed when Ahmed demanded for 50% commission from sales for Ruzu company products leading to Dr. Uzu’s withdrawal as partner.


The account was created using Dr. Uzu company details, but he was not a signatory to the said account; instead, Barr. Uche Uwazuruonye was a signatory to the account, standing as a middleman for both partners as instructed by his client, Dr. Isa Ahmed.


Dr. Uzu had out of trust and commitment released the company’s CAC registration documents without fear or doubt of Dr. Isa Ahmed’s integrity until he was invited by the FIRS that there was an accrued tax.

He said that upon investigations, he found out the account that was supposed to remain dormant after the partnership was terminated four years ago was turned to Dr. Isa Ahmed’s and Barr. Uche Uwazuruonye’s personal account, where they allegedly had transactions of about N50bn leading to an unpaid tax of N2bn, and he hoped to push tax payment on Ruzu company forgetting the other significant details on the account, such as their addresses and signature, which is the Ordinary President’s organization address and Barr. Uwazuruonye’s signature.


The question therein are:

Is Dr. Uzu, who is not a signatory to the account and does not have any personal information about the said account in dispute, be paying taxes for the users of the account?

Another question is, who paid such huge amount into the account that attracted over N2.1b tax as claimed by FIRS?


The third question is, who wanted to defraud Dr Uzu by using FIRS?


The mystery behind the account will soon be unraveled by the security agencies.
