A 36-year old single woman, Lynda Adewunmi Ebudola, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly assaulting a 34-year old lady, Onadipe Remilekun and Inserting grounded pepper inside her private part over a man.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ojulowo Imoshe Street, Anifowoshe area of Ikeja, Lagos, where Lynda resides.
The victim, Remilekun, was said to have visited Lynda’s neighbour, Chijioke Maduka, who is a trader at Computer Village. She was said to have forced the door open with a spare key. While she was still in the house, Maduaka’s brother came back and raised alarm that Remilekun was a thief, who forcefully opened their door.
Thus, Lynda launched an attack on her, stripped her naked, brought the pepper she had inside her room and inserted some quantity into the victim’s private part after beating her to submission.
When the owner of the house, Maduka, was contacted, he denied Remilekun, which worsened her situation and it was reported to the Police at MAN Centre Division. The operatives went to the house, rescued Remilekun and detained her at the station for interrogation.

The Police found both Lynda and Remilekun culpable over their conduct and consequently charged them before the Ogba Magistrate Court for their alleged offences.
While Remilekun was charged for unlawfully entering Maduka’s apartment without his consent, Lynda is facing the charge of assault on Remilekun, which attracts years of imprisonment.
However, they pleaded not guilty when they were arraigned in Court.
The prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence..
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenije, granted them bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and addresses verified by the Court.
