How Unknown Gunmen Assassinated Husband & Wife In Their Lagos Home

There was tragedy at the weekend following the brutal murder of a man, Chief Femi Egbeoluwa and his wife by suspected unknown armed men at their Allen Avenue home in Lagos State. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the late Engineer, Femi Egbeoluwa and his wife were reportedly killed by yet-to-be-identified gunmen between last Friday night and early Saturday, who gained entrance into their home at No. 1, Adefolu Drive, Allen Avenue and committed the dastardly act.
The couple’s house help was also attacked by the armed men and left her in a pool of blood before they escaped.
The late Chief Femi was said to have hailed from Ilaro in Ogun State but resided in Lagos.
The Police have retrieved their corpses and deposited at an undisclosed mortuary for autopsy reports.
Those behind the dastardly act were not yet known as the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident and stated that no arrest has been made in connection with the incident as at the time of filing this report.
Hundeyin said, “Investigation is ongoing. Policemen have visited the scene. The house help was found unconscious but she is responding to treatment now in the hospital”.
He said that the matter has been transferred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, for further investigation and possible arrest of the suspects for prosecution over the alleged murder.
