Nigerian Artist, Emeka Okoli, popularly known as Dr. Silencer, has spoken of his joy seeing Pope Francis adorn a customized fedora hat he made for him.

The Abuja-based artist, who also does signages, printing and branding, said that this was the biggest moment of his career.

“It was through my CIC Enugu (Semper Fidelis) connection Gosife that this miracle occurred. To me it’s a divine intervention which made it possible for the holy father to wear a hat I made”, he said.

Dr. Silencer, who makes customized hats for social clubs, t-shirts and other branding items, schooled at the prestigious College of Immaculate Conception (CIC) Enugu. He studied Fine and Applied Arts (Graphics Major) at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
