A 37-year old man, Abdul Malik, who uses his finger to molest under aged girls in Lagos, has been arrested after he allegedly inserted his finger into the private part of his neighbour’s 4-year old girl claiming that he was only checking something.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Olusegun Opaleye Street, Ago Palace in Okota area of Lagos where they reside.
It was gathered that Malik allegedly lured the victim to his apartment, inserted his finger into her private part before he was caught and handed over to the Police in the area who in turn transferred the matter to the Gender Section of Lagos Police Command.
During interrogation, Malik denied that he molested the victim and informed the Police that he was only checking something in her private part. When the Police asked to know what he was actually checking as he claimed, he could not disclose anything. He was then found culpable for sexual penetration and charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court in Lagos.
The Court did not take his plea after the Prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice. Thus the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, did not grant him bail rather ordered Malik to be remanded in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
The defendant will be in custody pending the outcome of DPP’s advice which will then determine if his case will be transferred to the High Court in Lagos.
Some of the residents, who spoke to P.M.EXPRESS, said it was not the first time Malik was accused of such dastardly act on under aged girls in the area.
