As days to the forthcoming APC Mega Rally set to be held in Nnewi draws nigh, APC’S ranking Senator, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, yesterday stormed the APC party secretariat with his entourage to hold what would be his first meeting with the party’s exco at the party secretariat.
The move, which was meant to solidify his entry alongside hundreds of thousands of his supporters all over the state and the federation into the party, was greeted with intense fervor as party members trooped to the glass house on short notice with the intent of receiving one of Anambra’s finest politicians politicians.
Arriving at about 5pm with his entourage, the Senator representing Anambra South immediately got to the business of the day narrating how he had joined the party and had repeatedly met with it’s leadership at the national, zonal and state levels on a number of occasions because of the value he placed on the party.
Also, he hinted at the forthcoming APC Mega Empowerment Rally, which had initially being slated to hold on the 9th of March but had to be moved to its new date owing to the fact that the president had delegated some of the dignitaries to a number of summits and would not have been present at such an event described as an earthshaking and seismic rally that would readily inform Nigerians that the APC has come of age in Anambra.
Ubah enumerated plans on how the two-day event would first of all be organised. The first day would witness a *SouthEast* *APC* *Colloquium* , the first of it’s kind since the inception of the party, while the second would witness an empowerment rally that would likely have in it’s attendance over 80,000 party faithfuls with the assurance that all had been put in place to ensure a smooth rally.
Speaking further, Senator Ubah noted that while the empowerment was supposed to cater for his southern constituents, he had prepared a package that would accommodate party faithful in the other two zones.
He urged for party unity, asking the party faithful to work with every stakeholder promising to do likewise.
Next to mount the hustings was the Zonal Organizing Secretary and one time Deputy Governor candidate of the party, *Chief Dozie Ikedife Jr* .
*Ikedife* described his decision to support his own brother in *Ubah* as one taken to reposition the party, narrating how *Ubah* had been rebranding the party through numerous efforts of his and what that could mean for a party that was bound to lock horns for the state’s number one office. He assured party members that *Senator Ubah* was willing to work with the current party leadership in the state and urged all to disregard the lies making the rounds  that *Ubah* was seeking their ouster as party leaders.
Other speakers at the event also commended *Ubah* for his interventions in the party and the SouthEast Region from time to time, the Zonal Vice Chairman of Anambra Central , *Chief Augustine Mmuomaife* praised *Ubah* for his efforts in getting the *SouthEast Development Commission Bill* passed at the Senate, describing such an effort as sterling, he was also effusive with praise, thanking Ubah for supporting his recently completed Local Government tour which was regarded as a success and had repositioned the party at the zone for the business of 2025. The youth leader, *Jideofor Ejimofor* also thanked Ubah for his commensurate support for the recently held APC Youth Summit. *Hon Sam Oraegbunam ,* the state assistant secretary thanked Ubah for making the APC his home and assured  him of all the support that he would require. For the state chairman, *Chief Basil Ejidike, Ubah’s* entrance had made the party look attractive and described the APC as the party to beat.
