Igbo Community Condoles With Lagos Speaker, Rt. Hon. Obasa Over Father’s Death

The Igbo Community in Lagos State led by Ezendigbo, Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, has sent a condolence message to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, over the death of his father, Pa Sulaiman Atanda Obasa. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the late Pa Obasa died at the age of 83 in Lagos State.
While mourning the deceased, Eze Nwachukwu described his death as deeply shocking and agonising at this critical time and extended the condolences of the Igbo Community to Rt. Hon. Obasa and his family over the passing of their beloved father.
Eze Nwachukwu noted that the Igbo  Community in Lagos State acknowledged his dedication, service and contributions to humanity as a community leader and successful businessman, which will be remembered for many years to come.
He stated: “At this period of mourning, he should know that members of the Igbo Community are praying for him and his entire family because losing a parent is one of the most difficult experiences one cannot easily endure and needs special grace of God to manage the situation”.
“As you pass through this period of mourning, we want to assure you that the entire Igbo community in Lagos State stands with you. We share in your sorrow and offer our heartfelt sympathy. May Almighty God grant you and your family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May He also grant Alhaji Sulaiman Obasa eternal rest and peace in heaven.”
