Igbo Presidency In 2023 Is A Collective Agenda – APC SouthEast Stakeholders

Rising from a stakeholders meeting held at the BON Hotel Sunshine, Enugu, APC South East Stakeholders in one voice affirmed that ensuring that President Muhammadu Buhari sweeps the poll in SouthEast is a task for all Ndigbo.

 

The meeting which was convened by the South East Director of the Buhari/Osinbajo re-election campaign and the Executive Secretary PTAD, Barr. Sharon Ikeazor, had in attendance, Ogbonnaya Onu, George Muoghalu, Senator Sunny Ogbuoji, Senator Andy Ubah, Senator Hope Uzodinma, Osita Okechukwu, Uche Ogah, Gov. Sullivan Chime, Emma Enekwu, Prof. Chinwe Obaji, Hon. Ebele Obi and all APC candidates in the SouthEast.

 

Barr. Sharon Ikeazor spoke excitedly about the Igbo project of 2023 and emphasised that the politics of 2023 has begun and we should begin to play politics towards that direction. She reiterated that President Muhammadu Buhari is doing better for Ndigbo when compared to previous governments and is merely a victim of negative propaganda in the region. She urged all Ndigbo to rally behind President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019. According to her, the task of delivering Buhari in 2019 is a job for all, whether you’re a technocrat or a politician, you have to get into the field and deliver President Muhammadu Buhari.

 

Speaking, APC SouthEast Zonal Chairman, Emma Enekwu and the National Auditor of the party, George Muogalu, both urged all party leaders and faithfuls to support Barr. Sharon Ikeazor, the Director the Buhari/Osinbajo re-election campaign for the South East, in her task and was very hopeful, that she will deliver in her new assignment as she has always performed exceedingly in any task.

 

The Minister of Science and Technology, and former Governor of Abia State, Chief, Ogbonnaya Onu, called for concerted effort among all stakeholders in the SouthEast in a bid to make the Igbo Presidency a reality in 2023. He spoke highly of Barr. Sharon Ikeazor and sought total support for her to make her work easier and promised to do all what’s necessary to make sure President Buhari wins the SouthEast come February.

 

The former Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime, posited that Buhari, winning the 5 SouthEast states should be the target not gaining 25% of votes cast, as the APC SouthEast has grown bigger of running after 25% of votes

 

Also, because the last gubernatorial candidate in Anambra State, Dr. Tony Nwoye, is the DG, Youths Mobilization for the Buhari/Osinbajo Buhari reelection campaign, Senator Andy Ubah was made the Coordinator Buhari/Osinbajo re-election campaign for Anambra State, a position earned as the  APC topmost ranking senator in the state.

 

The meeting was a fruitful one, and had all members beaming with enthusiasm and a resolve to deliver President Buhari at their respective polling unit in February.
