Ikeja CAN Leaders Offer Monthly Prayers

In continuation of its monthly spiritual intercession for peace, progress and purposeful leadership, leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ikeja Chapter, today held their routine prayer session at the Chairman’s Conference Room, Ikeja House.
The prayer session was led by the Chapter President, Pastor Ajayi Rotimi Olufemi, alongside other prominent Christian leaders and clerics within Ikeja Local Government.
Special prayers were offered for the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for divine wisdom, strength and success in steering the affairs of the nation. The clerics also prayed fervently for the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, asking God to continue to grant him wisdom and grace in delivering good governance to Lagosians.
The lawmakers representing Ikeja at the federal level, Hon. Dr James Abiodun Faleke, MHR, Ikeja Federal Constituency, was equally remembered in prayers for continued strength and impactful representation.
The CAN leaders further committed Ikeja Local Government into God’s hands, praying for enduring peace, unity, stability, growth and development across the council area. They also offered prayers for the administration of the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), asking for divine guidance and success in governance.
Present at the prayer meeting were the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Chief Adeyi Adeniyi; the Supervisor for ICT/Innovation, Mr. Matthew Ojewunmi; senior aides of government and other stakeholders.
