Ikeja LG Boss, Comrade Dauda Honoured At Annual Anifowoshe Day

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area of Lagos State, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has been honoured with an Award of Excellence at the annual Anifowoshe Day.
The energetic Council Chairman was honoured at the event held on Sunday 28th December, 2025, at Anifowoshe Community, Ikeja.
The huge crowd pulling event attracted former and current residents and respected stakeholders from across the Ikeja Federal Constituency.
The fun-filled event afforded the Anifowoshe Community the opportunity to honour one of their distinguished personalities, who is now the current Executive Chairman of the Council area, with an Award of Excellence for his outstanding performance within the few months since he assumed office.
In his few remarks, the highly elated Ikeja Council Boss, Comrade Dauda, appreciated the Community for the honour. He reiterated that better days are ahead and he will always carry the Ikeja people along in the policies and programmes of the Council.
