Ikpeazu, Chinedu Orji Plot To Assassinate Ogah, AYC Alleges

A group – Abia Youths For Change, has alleged that there are plans by the PDP in Abia State to assassinate the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Sampson Uche Ogah.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the AYC’s Publicity Secretary, Iheanacho Egu, the alleged that “the assassins have planned two options. The first is to trail Uche Ogah’s taken off point at the Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri and assassinate him on his way in or out of the airport.
The second option is for them to trail the convoy in one of the LG’s tour which Dr. Ogah will be making, cause trouble along the way and in the heat of the crisis they will carry out their evil plans.”
The group also alleged that some aides to Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and the son of former Governor of Abia State, Chinedu Orji should be watched because they have agreed to bear the burden of the dirty job.
“We understand that there is no measure, a desperate person(s) won’t take when trying to achieve a goal, but going as low as plotting assassination against an opponent is a weak man’s option.”
“The Ikpeazu PDP led government had 3 years to fix Abia, there is no excuse for their monumental failure in governance. The losing of Abia by PDP was strictly the choice of Ikpeazu.”
“We have also written to the appropriate quarters and we are calling on the security agencies to watch the activities of the son of the former governor, Mr. Chinedu Orji, Mr. Erondu Junior Erondu and some close aides to Ikpeazu as they have agreed to bear the burden of the dirty jobs” the group stated.
