The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial Candidate in Kwara State, Hon. Razak Atunwa, has refuted reports that he has withdrawn from the race.
Atunwa, who is a former Speaker of the Kwara State House Of Assembly stated that it was a lie concocted by the opposition.
In a statement by Bode Ojomu, Director of Media & Publicity, Kwara PDP Campaign Mandate 2019 Campaign, the party stated: “The opposition shot themselves in the leg for lack of intelligence and due diligence to even understand the structure and nomenclature of Officials in the Kwara PDP Mandate 2019 Campaign Council.”
“We don’t have any office or officer as Director of Public Relations and the discerning minds knows that what we have is Director of Media and Publicity. It’s a poorly executed 5th Columnist hatchet man’s job.”
“The statement by the Head, Social /News Media Baba Idris of the Directorate of Media and Publicity, Mandate 2019 Campaign Council represents the true and correct official position.”
“The purported statement remains the figment of the Imaginations of the misguided author and i am not privy to it. My sincere appreciation to Directors who drew my attention to it” Bode Ojomu stated.
