Imo APC Kicks Off Political Town Hall Meeting Across The 12 LGAs In Orlu Zone Starting With Nkwerre & Nwangele LGAs

The party also embarked on aggressive membership drive and mobilization for the re-election bid of Governor Hope Uzodimma, CON, while reviewing the party’s wards and booths executives to further strengthen them ahead of the governorship election.

Addressing a highly impressive crowd of  APC faithful in Nkwerre and Nwangele Local Government areas respectively,  the Chief of Staff to the State Governor, Hon. Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, said that the party is embarking on a town hall  tour of the Council Areas to sensitize the people on the need to massively re-elect an illustrious Orlu son, Senator Hope Uzodimma, for a second term in office given his sterling performance in the last three and a half years against all odds.

Speaking after the Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and member representing Nwangele Constituency, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, maintained that the  All Progressives Congress in Imo has justified the mandate given to it by the people, through the sterling performance of the Shared Prosperity Administration under Senator Hope Uzodimma, which he said has performed more than any other administration since the creation of Imo State.

 Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyawu, during his speech,  also noted that Governor Hope Uzodimma has shown greater love and support to the good people of Nwangele LGA, which is practically manifested in  appointing a larger number of Nwangele citizens into his cabinet.

According to the legislative egghead, his people must reciprocate the same love to his Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, come November 11, 2023, as APC has no excuse to lose in Nwangele.

Addressing his audience at the Council Secretariat, Orlu Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Hon. Barr. Kelvin Ugwu, advised the party faithful in Nwangele LGA, its leadership and stakeholders to constitute formidable booths and wards executives to ensure that the party achieves landslide victory in the 11th November, 2023 governorship election.

According to him, “We organized this town hall meeting to ascertain our performance, level of preparation and to help identify our Ward Chairmen and their Secretaries”.

The party chairman in Nwangele LGA, Hon. Chief Philip Uwazuruonye, on behalf of his executive members,  commended the Party’s State Working Committee for their support and sensitization while assuring that they will go back to the grassroots to mobilize people for the re-election bid of Governor Hope Uzodimma.

The town hall meetings in both Nkwerre and Nwangele LGAs were richly  attended by party faithful, stakeholders,  government appointees, and a good  number of honourable members from Orlu zone; Nkwerre, Nwangele, Oru East,  Njaba, Ideato, Ohaji-Egbema, Oguta, Orsu, among others.
