The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prof Placid Njoku, has commended members of the Ulakwo Elite Circle Club in Owerri North LGA over their ability to come together and organize themselves for the development of their community, just as he called on them to articulate the needs of the community and present to him through one of their sons and a key supporter of the administration, Chief Henry Njoku (Harritex).

Prof Njoku said he will hand the demands to the Governor and follow up on it to ensure they received attention. The Deputy Governor dropped this cheering news during the annual gala night of the Club held at the residence of Chief Ben Mbonu in Ulakwo on the 3rd of January 2021.
