Institute of Security Nigeria Honoured Ambassador Olatutu Oladunni With Fellowship Award

Chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos chapter, Ambassador Olatutu Oladunni, has been elected into the Fellowship of the Institute of Security Nigeria University of Lagos.

The Institute Deputy President/Chief Executive, Prof. (Barrister) Adebayo Akinade, has recently conveyed the decision to honour Ambassador Oladunni with the Institute’s prestigious Fellowship by its Board through a recommendation by the Award Committee.

The Institute says it was inspired and motivated by Oladunni’s outstanding qualities of leadership and selfless drive for competence and achievements as an astute young rising diplomat, international security advocate and achiever.

By this honour as a FELLOW of the Institute of Security Nigeria University of Lagos, Ambassador Oladunni is entitled to use fisn title after her name.

The Fellowship will be formally conferred on her alongside some notable Nigerians in the Defence Headquarters, the Presidency, Academics and the Royalty Sphere at a ceremony scheduled to be held weeks to come in Lagos.

In her response to the award, Ambassador Oladunni sincerely appreciates the Institute’s Governing Council, Board of Directors and University of Lagos’ Board of Trustees, adding that she considers this honour not only as a personal recognition, but also as an affirmation of the collective efforts of colleagues, mentors, and associates with whom she has had the privilege of working with over the years.

Oladunni is decorated as an Ambassador of Universal Peace Federation under the United Nations. She is also the Head, Foreign Relations of the PAN American Chamber of Commerce and Public Relations Officer of the Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria (ACPPN).

Ambassador Oladunni is an alumnus and Member of the prestigious London Corporate Training Institute International, Hammersmith (Central London), International Centre for Protocol and Diplomacy, Kensington, London, World Protocol Matters, International Association of Peace and Conflict Resolution of the UN, University of Ibadan and others.

Among recipients of the Fellowship in the past are the Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, Service Chiefs, former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (retd.), the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire Ministries(MFM), Dr. D.K. Olukoya, seasoned diplomats, seasoned diplomats, His Royal Majesty, Kabiesi Olowu Kuta, Oba (Dr.) Hameed Adekunle Oyelude CON, notable State Governors and a host of others.
