The Imo Progressives Movement (IPM) will hold its 3rd National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting on Sunday, 31st August, 2025.
The high-level session is slated for the National Secretariat of the Movement, on Onitsha Road in Owerri, and will commence at 1:00 pm.
The NEC meeting, under the distinguished leadership of the National Convener and Facilitator, Rt. Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu (MFHR), is expected to bring together the highest echelon of the Movement for deliberations on the consolidation of its vision, policies, and strategies for greater impact across the State. It will also provide an opportunity to assess progress, and take far-reaching decisions that will strengthen the Movement’s political dominance and relevance.
According to Collins Opurozor, National Director of Media & Publicity, attendance at this crucial meeting is strictly by invitation. Expected officers include: the Chairman and members of the Board of Trustees (BoT), the Director-General and Directors, Zonal Officers, as well as Local Government Coordinators.
Their participation will guarantee a broad spectrum of perspectives and ensure that resolutions reached reflect the collective aspirations of the Movement’s leadership across all levels.
As the most formidable political structure in Imo State, IPM continues to serve as the rallying point for progressive ideas, inclusive leadership, and people-oriented politics. The upcoming NEC meeting, therefore, is more than just a gathering; it is a reaffirmation of the Movement’s enduring commitment to shaping the political landscape of the State and advancing the collective good of its citizens.
The leadership of IPM calls on all invited officers to accord this meeting the seriousness it deserves and to be punctual, as the deliberations will commence promptly at the scheduled time. Together, the Movement remains resolute in its mission to sustain progress, unity, and shared prosperity for Imo State.
