The Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Hope Uzodimma for fulfilling his campaign promise of establishing a General Hospital in Nwangele Local Government Area.

This significant milestone was marked by a groundbreaking ceremony held yesterday, which not only symbolized the foundational step in healthcare enhancement but also reiterated the governor’s commitment to the welfare of the people. The initiative is a commendable effort by the Uzodimma administration, showcasing a dedication to public service that resonates deeply with the community.
The establishment of a general hospital in Nwangele is much more than just an infrastructural development ; it is a reflection of Governor Uzodimma’s leadership style, characterized by action rather than mere rhetoric. Rt. Hon. Iwuanyanwu underscored that unlike many politicians, the governor is committed to his promises, demonstrating a model of governance that revolves around accountability and transparency. This hospital is poised to serve not only as a health facility but also as a catalyst for socio-economic growth, creating job opportunities and enhancing access to quality medical care for the residents of Nwangele.
Governor Uzodimma’s vision for the healthcare sector transcends the immediate benefits of the hospital’s establishment. By improving healthcare services in Imo State, the hospital is set to attract medical tourism, thereby contributing to local and state economies. The community understands the high stakes involved in such an undertaking, which aims to boost the overall health landscape and provide a reliable medical facility for their needs. This initiative serves as an essential component in the governor’s broader strategy of upgrading public health infrastructure, ensuring that the citizens’ health is safeguarded in alignment with his administration’s goals.
On behalf of the people of Nwangele, Deputy Speaker Iwuanyanwu applauded Governor Uzodimma for his unwavering commitment to socio-economic transformation, infrastructural development, and human capital enhancement. The community’s response has been overwhelmingly positive, and their collective support for the governor remains steadfast. With the successful ground breaking ceremony for the establishment of the hospital, the people of Nwangele are optimistic about further developmental projects that will emerge under Uzodimma’s shared prosperity agenda. They recognize that the reward for good governance is continued progress and development, and they stand firmly behind a leader whom they believe is dedicated to their well-being and future prosperity.
