Keeping Ikeja Clean Is Keeping Ikeja Safe – Says Comrade Dauda

In his sustained drive to promote environmental cleanliness and public safety, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), on Thursday embarked on his routine environmental inspection and enforcement exercise across key areas within the local government.

The exercise, which covered under bridge Ikeja, Awolowo Way and Computer Village, underscored the Chairman’s unwavering commitment to maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents and businesses.

During the exercise, Comrade Dauda reiterated that a cleaner environment is directly linked to improved public health, safety, and economic productivity. He emphasized that the initiative aligns with the vision of the I.K.E.J.A Agenda, particularly its focus on creating a conducive environment where businesses can thrive and residents can enjoy a better quality of life.

The enforcement team comprised officials of LAWMA, personnel of LASPARK, Supervisors and staff of the Ikeja Local Government Environmental Department led by the Head of Department, Sanitarian Omotayo, alongside other key officials of Ikeja House.
