Kemi Nelson’s Death Is A Big Blow To Ikeja, Lagos & Nigeria, Says Cardinal Odunmbaku

A respected member of Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, popularly known as Baba Eto, has said that the death of All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson, is a big blow to Ikeja Federal Constituency, Lagos State and Nigeria.

Cardinal Odunmbaku stated this on Tuesday when he led a delegation of the stakeholders from the Ikeja Federal Constituency and beyond to pay a condolence visit to Nelson’s family.


He asserted that Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson was a loyal and committed APC Chieftain. He prayed for the repose of her beautiful soul and asked that God will grant the family and the party the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Present at Nelson’s Lekki residence included the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Tayo Ayinde, Chief Funsho Ologunde, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Sarah Adebisi Sosan, Executive Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku and former Ikeja Council Boss, Chief Alani Okikioposu.

Others included former Deputy Governor and APC Lagos West Senatorial District candidate, Dr. Idiat Adebule, member Lagos State House of Assembly Ikeja Constituency 2, Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Dr Mojeed Alabi Balogun, Engr. Akinola; Secretary to the Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Olaide Bello; Councillor Ward E Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Lekan Peters, three APC LG Chairmen among others.
