Labour Party’s Governorship Aspirant, Humphrey Anumudu Confirmed Dead!

A Governorship aspirant of the Labour Party (LP) for the November 11 gubernatorial election in Imo State, Humphrey Anumudu, has been confirmed dead.
 
The Labour Party’s Deputy Chairman in Imo State, Excel Ochiama, said Anumudu died on Friday night at his residence in Lagos.
He said that the deceased had purchased the Labour Party’s nomination form for the upcoming governorship election in Imo State and had filled and returned it to the party’s secretariat.
Earlier information has it that the Imo LP governorship hopeful died of cardiac arrest after returning from a party meeting in Abuja. However, the family is yet to make an official announcement.
Anumudu, who hails from Obilubi Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo, was a renowned businessman and brother to Willie Anumudu, the founder of Globe Motors Nigeria.
