Lady Bites Off Rival’s Ear Over Client

A 27-year old lady, Ijeoma Donatus, has been arrested she engaged her rival, Queen Divine, and bit off her ear in a public brawl over a client.

P.M.EXPRSS reports that the incident happened at Sharatu Jegede Street in Isolo area of Lagos where they reside and hustle for clients.

It was gathered that the two single ladies had a disagreement over a client which led to exchange of hot words and later degenerated to public fight.
During the fight, Ijeoma was said to have held Queen’s neck, drew her ear close and bit it off. The victim bled profusely and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment. When the ear that fell off was brought to the hospital, it was already dead and could not be fixed back.

The matter was reported to the police and Ijeoma was arrested. After interrogation, she later charged before Isolo Magistrates Court for the assault on Queen.
She pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Rita Momah, did not oppose her being granted bail but asked the court for a short adjournment for hearing.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Adegite, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
Ijeoma was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 28th January, 2019.
