Lagos Football Coaches Poll: Electoral Committee Releases Timetable

Electoral Committee has released timetable ahead of elections of Lagos State Football Coaches Association.

In a statement signed by the chairman committee, Suraju Alao, stated that all the electoral activities would be commenced as following.

Purchasing of registration forms begins 25th August and end 10 September, Submission/screening of candidates would hold on 11 September through 17, while campaign manifesto would hold on 24 September as elations proper would hold on 30 September, 2021.

Alao further urged interested candidates to come and pick their registration forms at the secretariat, saying that all the candidates would be given level playing ground.

Alao admonished the candidates to follow the electoral guidelines saying that the committee had started working to ensure that the election is free and fair.

He also urged all the candidates to shun any act of violence that can jeopardise the electoral timetable saying that any candidate found wanting would be sanctioned accordingly.

“This is to inform all the candidates to see this timetable as their guideline and they should try as much as possible to allow peace to reign in their campaigns and shun any act that can undermine or tamper the activities of electoral process. I wish all the candidates all the best in their campaign,” he said.

Meanwhile, three candidates have started campaigning for the position of chairmanship seat. They are David Dosu, Ifenayichukwu Ikpo Moses and Thairu Hassan.
