The body joins other well meaning Nigerians and supporters to congratulate the President-elect, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his well deserved and hard-earned victory at the polls.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the Chairman of the body, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, he said that Asiwaju Tinubu, in the last thirty years, is one of the few astute politicians that had invested heavily, consistently and tirelessly towards the enthronement and sustenance of democracy and good governance in Nigeria.
According to Dauda, “Asiwaju has selflessly served humanity and had raised people to political prominence and relevance in Nigeria. His emergence as the President-elect has restored the hope of a brighter and rewarding future for our country and her people”.
On behalf of the Secretaries, he thanked President Muhammadu Buhari, the Progressive Northern Governors as well as party leaders and stalwarts nationwide, for their historic support and for the opportunity offered to enable a true believer in the values and virtue of democracy and rule of law in becoming the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Comrade Dauda maintained that based on his antecedents and the quality of his team, there is no doubt that Tinubu would transform Nigeria into a united, secured, virile, prosperous and peaceful nation.
