A delegation from the Ministry, led by the Permanent Secretary, ESV Wasiu Adebayo Olayinka, conducted an inspection visit to the Lagos State Industrial Leather Hub in Matori on Thursday, as the facility enters its final phase of preparation ahead of its official commissioning by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The visit was aimed at providing an on-the-spot assessment of the level of work completed, with particular focus on the installation of state-of-the-art equipment designed to support large-scale leather production.
During the tour, the Permanent Secretary emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in the execution of the project while adhering strictly to the delivery timeline.
The inspection team was received by Ms. Rukiye Sekin Plak, co-founder and General Manager of Elit Ayyakabi Consulting Firm, who conducted a guided tour of the facility.
She assured the Ministry’s delegation that the installation of equipment and other finishing touches would be completed within the scheduled time frame.
