Lagos Speaker, Obasa Bags Doctorate Degree

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, has been conferred with an Honorary Doctor of Political Science from the Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Osun State.

The conferment took place Friday during the 10th Convocation Ceremony at the prestigious institution’s Campus in Ikeji-Arakeji.

Reacting to the honour done him by the institution, Rt. Hon. Obasa said, “I’m really honoured to be awarded Honorary Doctorate degree in Political Science (Honoris Causa) by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Kola Sonaike. Congratulations to my fellow awardees!”.

Obasa was honoured alongside other distinguished Nigerians including Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker, House of Representatives; Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, Osun State Governor and his Oyo State counterpart, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
