Lagos State Govt Partners Abiodun Ariori Golden Foundation Over Domestic & Sexual Violence

The campaign against sexual and domestic violence got a big boost in Alimosho Local Government of Lagos State following the partnership between the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team and Abiodun Ariori Golden Foundation.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the partnership took off with the arrival of the Wife of the Lagos State Governor Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu,  wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Hamzat and the wives and representatives of all the LCDA Chairmen, met with Chief Ariori for walk against domestic and sexual violence.

The walk started from Banire Bus Stop to Egbeda roundabout, where Dr. Mrs. Sanwo-Olu unveiled the signpost on fight against Domestic and Sexual Violence.

Many of beneficiaries of the Abiodun Ariori Golden Foundation were also in attendance to support both the founder and Chairman of the Foundation,  Chief Ariori and the State Government.

 Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu enjoined all the people living in Alimosho to support the campaign so that the incidence of rape and domestic violence will be reduced in the society.

Chief Ariori gave full support to the campaign and stated that his Foundation will work more; not only to campaign against but will assist the victims through the Foundation’s rehabilitation scheme.

Many other interest groups were in attendance among which were NURTW, South South Forum, Arewa Consultative Forum, Market men and women, school students, and 4sure group family.

Chief Ariori recently established the Foundation, which he uses to touch the lives of many people in Alimosho and beyond. 
Ariori is a businessman, philanthropist, supporter of good governance and stakeholder in Alimosho Local Government.He has been involved in many philanthropic activities in Alimosho Local Government without any support from any elected official or State Government.

It is on record that Ariori has fed more than 400 people for almost three months on daily basis during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown period aside other assistance to youths, widows and the elderly people.

He holds the chieftaincy title of Oganla of Isheri land because of his philanthropic gesture to the people and was recently conferred the title of Asiwaju by the youths in Alimosho comprising the whole six Local Council areas.
