Lagos State Sports Commission Mourns Wale Aboderin

The Management and Staff of Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) has commiserated with the family of Mr. Gbadebowale Aboderin over the sudden death of the Chairman of Punch Newspapers.
The Executive Chairman, Dr Kweku Adedayo Tandoh stated that the late Aboderin, a Philanthropist and Media mogul, left indelible marks in the sands of time while contributing to national development and he also made very appreciable impact in sports development.
Tandoh stated that as one-time Chairman, Lagos State Basketball Association, a position the late Aboderin held for eight and half years, he contributed in no small measure to the development of basketball in Lagos State and left a legacy that would forever remain in the minds of Stakeholders.
He commiserated with his wife, children and siblings and urged them to take solace in the remarkable life the sports enthusiast led when he was alive.
The late Aboderin was the Founder/Chairman of Dolphins Female Basketball Club, a top female team in the Zenith Bank National Basketball Premier League and was once a Vice-President of Nigeria Basketball Supporters Club.
