Landlord’s Son Rapes Tenant’s Wife

A 24-year old landlord’s son, Amusa Adam, was arrested in Lagos after he attacked their tenant’s pretty wife.

He was said to have attacked the 25-year old victim, tore her clothes, threw her on the ground and forcefully penetrated her in order to satisfy his sexual desire.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at No.15 Matthew Street, Agege area of Lagos, where they reside.

It was gathered that while he was battling to force his joystick inside her private, the lady raised alarm and shouted for help which made her husband to come out and met Adam on top of his wife.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that Adam had been admiring the victim’s beauty since she moved into their compound with her husband and had desired to have sex with her.
However, the lady was said not to be interested and rebuffed his entreaties before  the incident happened.

On the day the incident happened, the lady was said to have gone to the bathroom to ease hersef before she would retire to bed with her husband. According the husband, while he waited for his wife to come back he heard her voice and rushed out to find out what happened only to find Adam on top of his wife on the ground.
He said he intervened and rescued his wife but Adam who was angry that he prevented him from sleeping with his wife attacked and injured him.

The matter was reported at Isokoko Division and he was arrested. Adam was later charged before the Ogba Magistrates court for attempted rape.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Raphael Donny, informed the court that the victim was married and that the defendant was their neighbour who is the son of the landlord.
He was arraigned before the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. A.T. Ojo, who admitted him on bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect the bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 3rd December, 2018.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Adam may escape the rape charge because he had not penetrated the lady before the husband rescued her.

When our correspondent contacted the victim and her husband at the court on Thursday, they confirmed the incident and said that they were still in shock over the incident.
